App email

App email that keeps the replies

Mailroomly app email sends your receipts, password resets and notifications through a REST API that also speaks SendGrid’s, Mailgun’s and Postmark’s. Change the host and the key, and your code keeps working. Every send shows its route from accepted to delivered, and replies land in your team inboxes.

Start in three steps

  1. Create an app and its key

One key per app, with its own daily limit if you want one.

  2. Point your SDK at Mailroomly

Change the host and the key. Your requests and webhook handlers stay as they are.

  3. Verify your domain

Publish its DNS records, and your mail is signed as your own.

What changes in your app

The host each SDK talks to, and the key. Nothing else.

Transactional mail always goes first

Receipts and password resets never wait behind a newsletter. Each organization sends with its own reputation, watched for you: a rise in bounces pauses that kind of email before it harms the rest.

The DNS records of a domain

MAIL FROM (MX)MX at bounce.yourcompany.comWhere bounce reports come back. Your normal mail isn’t affected.
MAIL FROM (SPF)TXT at bounce.yourcompany.comSays which servers may send for that return address.
DMARC policyTXT at _dmarc.yourcompany.comTells receivers what to do with mail that fails the checks. Marketing needs one.

Questions about app email

Can I keep my SendGrid, Mailgun or Postmark code?

Yes. Mailroomly speaks their sending APIs and webhook formats. Point your SDK at Mailroomly’s host and use a Mailroomly key.

Where do replies to my app’s email go?

To the team inbox of the address you send from, in the thread with the email they answer. Your team or your agent answers from there.

Does a newsletter slow down my receipts?

No. Transactional mail always goes before marketing, and the two are watched apart.

Can my app hear about deliveries and bounces?

Yes. Webhooks tell your app about every event: delivered, bounced, opened, clicked and received.
