Team inboxes for support@, sales@ and billing@
Mailroomly team inboxes are shared addresses, such as support@, sales@ and billing@, that your team answers together. Each conversation is threaded like Gmail and shows who holds it: you, a teammate or an AI agent. Replies to your app’s receipts and your newsletters land in the same threads.

Start in three steps
Claim a free address
It sends and receives at once, with no DNS work, so your team can answer today.
Invite your team
Choose who opens each address. Everyone sees who holds each conversation.
Bring your domain when you’re ready
Publish a few DNS records, and support@ becomes support@yourcompany.com.
Who holds each conversation, in plain sight
The inbox is organized by who has the conversation now, so nothing waits without someone knowing.
Needs you
A customer is waiting for your team, or a draft waits for your approval.
With the agent
An agent is answering within what you allowed. You can step in at any moment.
Answered
The last word is yours or the agent’s. A new reply brings it back.
Step in with one click
Every conversation shows who replies: the agent or a teammate. Try the switch.
Invoice for order #4821
billing@lojanova.pt · 3 messages
The billing agent answers Rita in this thread, within what its token allows. You still see every message.
The DNS records, when you bring your domain
Publish them where your domain’s DNS is managed. Mailroomly checks every few minutes and shows each record’s status.
| Record | Type and name | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| DKIM signature | CNAME at …._domainkey.yourcompany.com | Signs every email, and proves you own the domain. |
| MAIL FROM (MX) | MX at bounce.yourcompany.com | Where bounce reports come back. Your normal mail isn’t affected. |
| MAIL FROM (SPF) | TXT at bounce.yourcompany.com | Says which servers may send for that return address. |
| DMARC policy | TXT at _dmarc.yourcompany.com | Tells receivers what to do with mail that fails the checks. Marketing needs one. |
| Inbound mail (MX) | MX at yourcompany.com | Sends the domain’s mail to Mailroomly, only when you receive there. |
Questions about team inboxes
Does it replace Gmail or Outlook?
Not necessarily. It isn’t built to replace them: there’s no calendar and no IMAP, so desktop mail apps can’t connect. But a small team that only needs email can give each member their own address, such as carl.johnson@yourcompany.com, that only they open.
Can my domain keep its current mailboxes?
Yes, if you receive on a subdomain such as mail.yourcompany.com. Pointing the domain itself to Mailroomly moves all of its mail here.
Who can read a conversation?
The teammates you give access to its address, and the agents whose tokens include it. Administrators choose both.
Can an AI agent answer here?
Yes. Your agent answers in the same threads, on its own where you allow it, or as a draft that waits for your team.
